Residential at a glance

Norfolk’s greatest strength is its neighborhoods. With over 120 civic leagues and over 95,000 housing units, Norfolk offers a diversity of housing choices which range from charming starter houses to grand residences and from downtown lofts and town homes to brand new developments along the Chesapeake Bay. Norfolk offers a range of architectural styles and prices.

"In Norfolk, life is not to be missed; it's to be celebrated… daily."

In the last four years, more than a half-billion dollars of public and private money was invested in nearly 4,000 new housing units successfully achieved with strategic housing initiatives.

East Beach has been chosen as the site for Tidewater Builders Association's Fall 2010 Homearama, October 2-17. The show will feature up to 16 homes along 24th Bay Street south of Pleasant Avenue. This will be the second Homearama in East Beach - the first in 2004 featured the original 16 homes in East Beach along 25th Bay Street, and was the most successful Homearama in TBA's history.
