MacArthur Center features one million square fet of retail offerings, including Hampton Roads' first Nordstrom and the region's flagship Dillards department store. The center also features retailers such as Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma, Michael Kors, Banana Republic, the Apple Store and many others. Urban Outfitters opened on Granby Street in 2012.

Simon Premium Outlets & Park

Coming Soon - The $75 million, 350,000 SF premium outlet center includes approximately 90 designer and name-brand outlet stores, representing some of the top names in fashion, home furnishings and more, arranged in an open-air pedestrian village of boutique shops adjacent to beautiful Lake Wright. Wards Corner

The Wards Corner area has been undergoing a transformation in the past few years with the opening of a new Harris Teeter grocery in the $18 million K&K Square shopping center. Across the street the Midtown Shopping Center underwent a $1.2 million upgrade, and features new tenants as well as old favorites. Military Highway

Many national retailers are located along Norfolk Military Highway, including Target, Party City, Lowes, Walmart, and Kmart.

ODU University Village
