Let’s kick off the next round of Capital Access Program Grants!

The City of Norfolk Economic Development Department will be hosting a small business marketing workshop in partnership with Black Brand on June 26th, 2024 at 6pm at The Slover in Downtown Norfolk. The meeting will be held in the Roy E Hendrix Business Center. This workshop is not part of the mandatory workshop schedule and is optional for small business owners in Norfolk.

The City of Norfolk established the Capital Access Program (CAP) with the goal of filling a financial gap in the marketplace for entrepreneurs to either start or expand their business. CAP provides alternative and affordable financing made available through the City of Norfolk for new, existing, and expanding businesses. These funds are reserved for businesses that lack access to traditional financing resources and/or require “gap financing.”
