Norfolk entrepreneur, business owner, and philanthropist Dr. Angela Reddix was honored recently after being named to EBONY Magazine’s Power 100 List for 2021. She was named an innovation leader.

State and local leaders gathered to present proclamations and honors in a Sendoff Ceremony prior to the official ceremony in Beverly Hills, California.

EBONY Magazine‘s annual list honors achievements of Black Americans across multiple fields, from business and sports to activism and media.  Hampton Roads’ Timbaland, Jada Pinkett-Smith, and Shaquille O’Neal were also named to the list this year.

In addition to owning the thriving health care management and IT consulting firm ARDX, Reddix is the director of the Hodge Center for Entrepreneurship at Norfolk State. In addition to her work at NSU, she runs a non-profit entrepreneurship program for teen girls Envision Lead Grow.
